Tiny Tots operates as an extension of each family, partnering with caregivers to support children during their crucial early years.Role Description The Teaching Assistant is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Winchester, MA, supporting the daily operations of Tiny Tots Family Daycare. In this role, the Teaching Assistant helps lead age-appropriate activities, assists with lessons, and supports children during play, meals, and rest times. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe learning environment, supervising children to ensure their well-being, and reinforcing positive behavior and social skills. The Teaching Assistant collaborates with the lead caregiver on educational plans, communicates with families as needed, and contributes to a warm, inclusive atmosphere that reflects the daycare’s family-centered values.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Assistant Teaching and Education, with an interest or background in early childhood development.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear, respectful interaction with children, families, and colleagues.Candidates should possess skills in Mathematics sufficient to support age-appropriate learning activities and daily routines.Candidates should possess experience and comfort Working With Children in group settings, with a focus on safety, empathy, and patience.Additional beneficial qualifications include CPR/First Aid certification, familiarity with early childhood curriculum, reliability, and the ability to follow licensing and safety guidelines.
