Teaching Assistant (Preschool/Early Childhood)Happyland Day School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Teaching Assistant to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, is a team player, and is passionate about helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. This position works closely with the lead teacher to support children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development.Responsibilities:Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routinesHelp supervise and engage children during classroom, playground, and special activitiesSupport children with transitions, meals, and self-help skillsMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environmentFoster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkersFollow all school policies and procedures to ensure student safety and well-beingQualifications:Experience working with young children preferredHigh school diploma requiredStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to actively engage with children throughout the school dayMust meet all state childcare licensing requirements through DCFSchedule:Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available.Background Screening NoticeAs a licensed childcare program, employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required background screening requirements through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
