Bachelor’s degree preferred.NYS Teaching Assistant certification within 3 months of employmentExperience working with school-aged children in an academic or youth development settingBilingual (Spanish) a plusTeacher Assistant Performance Outcomes Teacher Assistant will ensure that assigned small/ at-risk groups show growth in mathematics and literacy as measured by internal assessments.Teacher Assistant will score proficient in classroom management and youth development as measured by student referral numbers, suspensions, and internal measurement tools.
