The Teaching Assistant supports lead teachers in planning and delivering English and basic mathematics lessons, preparing classroom materials, and assisting with instructional activities. Daily responsibilities include helping students with classwork, supervising learners during lessons and breaks, and maintaining an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. The role also involves monitoring student progress, providing feedback, communicating with teaching staff about student needs, and participating in school meetings and training sessions.Qualifications Strong skills in assistant teaching and classroom support, including helping implement lesson plans and learning activities.Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and respectfully with students, colleagues, and families.Background or interest in education, particularly in English language learning and basic instructional practices.Comfort with basic mathematics and ability to assist students with foundational math concepts.Experience working with children and creating a safe, patient, and encouraging learning environment.Ability to follow school procedures, collaborate with teaching staff, and adapt to different learning needs.Organizational skills and reliability, including punctuality and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.Relevant coursework or certification in education, childcare, or a related field is an advantage.Proficiency in English, with clear spoken and written communication; additional language skills are a plus.
