The school is committed to helping learners develop academically, socially, and personally within an international community.Role Description The Teaching Assistant role at MISY Mandalay is a full-time, on-site position based in Mandalay. The Teaching Assistant supports classroom teachers in delivering lessons, preparing teaching materials, and organizing learning activities that align with the English National Curriculum. Daily tasks include working closely with learners in small groups or individually, reinforcing key concepts, assisting with classroom management, and supporting learners’ social and emotional development. The role also involves supervising learners during breaks, helping with assessments and record-keeping, and collaborating with teachers and school staff to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Qualifications Strong Assistant Teaching skills, including supporting lesson delivery and classroom management.Effective Communication skills for interacting with learners, teachers, and families in a clear and respectful manner.Background or training in Education, ideally with familiarity with the English National Curriculum.Competence in Mathematics to assist learners with numeracy activities and related classroom tasks.Proven experience Working With Children in an educational or childcare setting, with a focus on safety and wellbeing.Good English language proficiency, both written and spoken.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural school environment and follow school policies and procedures.Organizational skills, reliability, and a positive attitude toward continuous professional development.A relevant diploma or degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
