The Teaching Assistant supports faculty in delivering high-quality instruction, including preparing teaching materials, assisting during lectures and seminars, and guiding students through exercises and assignments. Daily responsibilities include helping to organize classroom activities, providing academic support to students, holding office hours or consultation sessions, and assisting with grading and feedback under faculty supervision. The role may involve working with small groups or individual learners, supporting inclusive and engaging learning environments, and contributing to the smooth operation of courses. The Teaching Assistant collaborates closely with faculty members, administrative staff, and students to uphold academic standards and contribute to the university’s educational mission.Qualifications Strong Assistant Teaching and Education skills to support faculty and student learning in a university setting.Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, faculty, and staff in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.Solid Mathematics knowledge to assist with STEM-related courses and student problem-solving.Experience or comfort Working With Children and young adults, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., education, mathematics, engineering, or related disciplines).Ability to work on-site in Tashkent, manage multiple tasks, and support classes in different formats (lectures, seminars, labs).Proficiency in Uzbek and/or Russian; knowledge of English is an advantage, especially for international and English-medium programs.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to academic integrity and equity in education.
