(Indeed)🎯 Key Responsibilities• Support teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson preparation, and learning programs.• Assist students individually and in small groups with assignments, activities, and learning tasks.• Prepare teaching materials, classroom resources, worksheets, displays, and learning equipment.• Support students who require additional academic, behavioral, or learning assistance.• Encourage students to participate actively in classroom activities and develop positive learning habits.• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, lunch periods, extracurricular activities, and school events.• Maintain a safe, organized, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.• Support classroom routines, attendance, transitions, and daily administrative activities.• Observe students' learning progress, behavior, participation, and individual needs.• Provide relevant observations and feedback to teachers regarding student development and challenges.• Assist teachers with marking assignments, maintaining records, preparing materials, and organizing classroom resources.• Encourage positive behavior and help students follow school and classroom rules.• Support students' social, emotional, and personal development.• Assist with extracurricular activities, educational events, field trips, and school programs.• Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.• Communicate professionally with teachers, school staff, students, and parents when required.• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information, academic records, and personal matters.• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities.• Follow school policies, child safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements, and professional standards.• Perform additional educational and administrative duties as assigned by teachers or school leadership.✅ Requirements• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Teacher Aide, Classroom Assistant, Tutor, Childcare Assistant, or similar role is preferred.• Passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Patient, caring, responsible, approachable, and positive personality.• Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds.• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.• Good organizational and time-management abilities.• Ability to follow teacher instructions while also taking initiative when appropriate.• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.• Ability to support students with different learning needs and abilities.• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is preferred.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information professionally.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced educational environment.• High school diploma, SPM, STPM, A-Level, or equivalent qualification required; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Teaching, or a related field is preferred.• Previous experience in an international school environment is an advantage.
