About the jobEnglish 1 Cempaka Putih is hiring Teaching Assistant.The Teaching Assistant (TA) is part of the school teaching team, supporting the class teacher in the areas of classroom management, safety, assistance with activities and general student care. The TA will have an important role in student safety, enforcing the English 1 Health and Safety procedures. The TA also maintains classroom discipline, by both following the teacher's lead and maintaining the center's classroom behavior policies. The role involves participating in lesson activities by helping to demonstrate, monitoring, guiding, and helping students during the activities.Job DescriptionIn the classroom:Enforce student safety proceduresSupport teacher in class activitiesHelp teachers enforce their rules and classroom management systemsHelp monitor & check homework & attendanceAssist in conducting unit reviews and progress testsOut of the classroom:Line students up and escort to and from classroomMaintain teaching aidsGrade paper-based progress testCollaborate with the teachers to conduct outside-classroom activitiesQualifications:University student in the last year or semester (preferably from Education or English Literature)Minimum CEFR B1 level English; comfortable working in a multicultural environmentEnjoy working with children (3-9 years old)Have a positive attitude, and positive body language (smile a lot)Patient, energetic, detail-orientedHave a clean criminal historyWorking Schedule:Schedule is set in agreement with Senior Teaching Manager & TA PIC1-6 days per weekOnsite and offsite dutiesTo be placed in English 1 Cempaka Putih
