The faculty member will plan and deliver interior design lectures, studio classes, and workshops aligned with the academic curriculum and institutional standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, guiding students through design projects, reviewing portfolios, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning and professional growth. The role involves mentoring students, assessing assignments and examinations, maintaining academic records, and contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement. The faculty member will also participate in academic events, industry interactions, and collaborative initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience and keep course content aligned with current design practices.Qualifications Strong expertise in interior design principles, space planning, materials, and design software commonly used in the industry.Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, or training experience, with the ability to engage diverse learners in studio and classroom settings.Curriculum development and lesson planning skills, including the ability to design projects and assessments that reflect industry standards.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to facilitate clear instruction and collaborative learning.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Professional experience in interior design practice, consultancy, or related creative fields is highly beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams, and willingness to contribute to institutional initiatives and events.Commitment to student-centered teaching, continuous learning, and staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in design.
