قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجTeaching Fellow – Health, Safety and EnvironmentLocation: Miri, SarawakDepartment: Health SciencesAppointment Type: Teaching FocusedRole OverviewAs a Teaching Fellow in Health, Safety and Environment, you will contribute primarily to high‑quality undergraduate teaching in the Bachelor of Science (Health, Safety and Environment). The role focuses on foundation to advanced units in health sciences, occupational health and safety, environmental management, public health, and applied research and biostatistics.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & SupervisionDeliver, coordinate, and assess undergraduate units within Health, Safety and Environment.Teach lectures and tutorials across health, safety, environmental, and research‑focused units.Design, mark, and moderate assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback.Support students’ academic progress and skill development.Engage in teaching‑related professional development.Contribute to a collegial, supportive teaching environment.Service & EngagementContribute to academic service at department and faculty levels.Demonstrate collegiality and effective teamwork.Build and maintain effective engagement with industry, professional bodies, the wider community or government partners. Qualification and ExperienceBachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Health Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.PhD (desirable).Experience teaching health, safety, environmental, or public health units at undergraduate level.Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in statistical software (e.g. SPSS or equivalent).Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, practices, and risk management frameworks.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support diverse student cohorts and collaborate effectively.
