Team Lead AI ConsultingLocation: Berlin GermanyEmployment type: Permanent, full-timeWorking model: HybridThe opportunityA leading European cloud and digital infrastructure provider is building a team focused on delivering secure, production-ready AI solutions for enterprise customers.They are looking for a Team Lead AI Consulting to combine technical leadership, customer delivery and responsibility for growing the team.This is a player-coach position for someone who wants to remain close to the technology while hiring, mentoring and leading AI consultants and engineers.Your responsibilitiesBuild and develop a team of AI consultants and and engineersOwn workforce planning, candidate interviews, hiring and onboardingLead customer projects from discovery and architecture through to productionTranslate business requirements into practical AI strategies and technical roadmapsDesign solutions involving generative AI, LLMs, RAG and agentic workflowsEstablish standards across evaluation, observability, security and governanceAdvise customers on cloud architecture, data sovereignty and responsible AIWork closely with engineering, product, sales and senior stakeholdersSupport technical workshops, solution proposals and pre-sales activitiesEnsure projects deliver measurable customer and business outcomesWhat you’ll needProven experience in AI consulting, solutions architecture or technical deliveryPrevious responsibility for leading, hiring and developing technical teamsExperience delivering AI or generative AI solutions in enterprise environmentsStrong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents and model evaluationUnderstanding of MLOps, cloud-native architecture, APIs and KubernetesExperience taking AI solutions from proof of concept into productionStrong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skillsThe ability to balance technical quality with commercial prioritiesProfessional German and English language skillsDesirable experienceExperience working for a cloud provider, technology consultancy or managed-service businessKnowledge of European data sovereignty and regulated environmentsExperience with open-source models and sovereign AI platformsFamiliarity with GPU infrastructure, model serving and inference optimisationExperience contributing to proposals and commercial negotiationsWhat’s on offerThe opportunity to build and shape a growing AI consulting teamOwnership of recruitment, team development and technical directionEnterprise AI projects running on European cloud infrastructureHybrid workingContinued professional and leadership developmentEmployee benefits, health programmes and company eventsCompetitive compensation package
