Supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide, the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance, improve reliability, and ensure operational and mission readiness.We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Bench Mechanic to support MRO operations and oversee daily operations and guide a team of Bench Mechanics. This a working leader position with a great opportunity growth.ResponsibilitiesBench Mechanic Team Lead responsibilities may include but not limited to:This position will support MRO Operations, specifically but not limited to Tubes/SS Fin/MilitaryPerform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs while directing your team on assignmentsAssist in retaining and maintaining all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic formContinuously update and utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism to allow for efficient maintenance planning, time limit item trackingAdhere to company policies including all safety compliancesManages material readiness, inventory and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts, and toolingRead and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair ManualsOther duties as assigned to meet production demandsRequirementsHigh School education or equivalent5 or more years mechanical experience, aerospace manufacturing preferred5 or more years of prior leadership experience preferred Must be able to work 1st shift hours typically 6:30am to 3pm with overtime and weekends as business need demandsMust be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance following new employee training Must have good command of the English language; oral and writtenMust have good communication skillsMust be able to multi-task and be detail orientedMust be able to display good judgement regarding quality & safetyMust be willing and able to learn and apply new skillsWorking knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerancesMust be able to perform physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 poundsMust have reliable transportationMust have the ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Must have the ability to pass pre-hire background check screening going back 7 yearsBenefitsTAT Technologies is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
