Team Lead

We are looking for two PM Shift Team Leaders with a variable shift pattern from 1.00pm to 4.30am.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESThe B&S Distribution Team Leader is responsible for supervising day-to-day warehouse picking, packing, and distribution activities to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products. This role ensures adherence to GDP, safety, and quality standards, while leading and developing a high-performing warehouse team.Key Responsibilities:Operational LeadershipLead, supervise, and coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch activitiesAllocate daily workloads and manage shift planning to meet distribution targetsEnsure accurate order fulfillment in line with customer and regulatory requirementsCompliance & Quality (GDP)Ensure strict adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP)Maintain proper handling of temperature-sensitive, controlled, and hazardous pharmaceutical productsEnsure accurate batch, expiry date, and serialization controlsSupport audits, inspections, and CAPA implementationInventory & SystemsOversee picking accuracy using WMS/Kisoft systemsConduct and support cycle counts and stock reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, and shortagesEnsure FEFO/FIFO complianceTeam Management & TrainingConduct onboarding and continuous GMP/GDP trainingMonitor performance, attendance, and compliance behaviorEnforce SOPs, safety rules, and company policiesHealth, Safety & EnvironmentEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety regulationsPromote a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environmentReport and investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazardsContinuous ImprovementIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracyParticipate in Lean, 5S, or operational excellence initiativesExperience3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industriesMinimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader roleSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of GDP principlesHigh attention to detail and accuracy and leadership and people management skillsProblem-solving and decision-making ability and proficiency in WMS systemsEffective communication and reporting skills and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as requiredCapability to work in temperature-controlled environments (cold chain)Manual handling and standing for extended periods
