Location: Heidelberg area, GermanySalary: €55,000-€65,000Languages: Fluent German and working proficiency in EnglishAre you an experienced Order Management or Customer Service professional ready to lead a team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations?Our client is an established international organisation supporting scientific research and laboratory-based markets.

They are looking for a hands-on Team Lead Order Entry to manage a small team and take ownership of the complete Order-to-Cash process. This is not purely a management position. You will lead from the front, supporting your team, processing customer orders, resolving complex issues and ensuring customers receive an accurate, responsive and reliable service.What you'll be responsible forLeading, developing and managing the Order Entry teamPlanning workloads, resources and holiday coverageRemaining actively involved in customer order entry and processingManaging the complete Order-to-Cash processMonitoring order backlogs, delivery commitments and product allocationResolving urgent or complex order, shipping, inventory and payment issuesWorking closely with Sales, Production, Logistics, Finance and Technical ServiceTracking KPIs covering accuracy, processing times, backlogs and delivery performanceIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and service qualitySupporting system implementations, audits and improvement projectsWhat we're looking forAt least five years' experience in Order Management, Customer Service, Order Processing or a similar functionPrevious experience leading and developing a small teamA commercial qualification or degree in business, supply chain, logistics or a related disciplineStrong knowledge of ERP systems-Microsoft Navision or Oracle NetSuite would be advantageousExperience improving processes and monitoring operational KPIsA highly organised, customer-focused and solutions-driven approachConfidence working across multiple departments and managing competing prioritiesFluent German and working proficiency in EnglishStrong Excel, Microsoft Office and Teams skillsExperience using Salesforce would also be beneficial.You must live within a realistic commuting distance of Heidelberg.Ready to take the next step?If you have strong Order Management experience, enjoy developing people and want genuine ownership of a business-critical function, I want to hear from you.Send me your CV today or contact me directly for a confidential conversation:Applications are being reviewed now, contact me today to discuss the opportunity before the shortlist closes.Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.
