Team Lead - Freight.

Role PurposeTo lead, coordinate, and optimize day-to-day domestic and cross-border road freight operations (FTL/LTL) across the UAE and GCC. The role ensures high fleet utilisation, cost efficiency, customs compliance, and on-time service delivery while driving team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily dispatch schedules, route planning, driver assignments, and line-haul movements for FTL and LTL shipments. Supervise, train, and manage the performance of freight coordinators, operational staff, and drivers. Ensure seamless border clearance and full adherence to GCC customs regulations and AEO operational standards.Negotiate competitive rates with 3PL carriers and optimise transport routes to maximize margins. Act as an escalation point for issue resolution and leverage Transport Management Systems (TMS) to maintain real-time visibility.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in road freight operations (UAE/GCC).Knowledge of GCC transport networks, customs processes, TMS software, vendor management, and strong team leadership skills.
