Job Title: Automotive Team Leader – Aftersales / WorkshopWe are looking for an experienced Automotive Team Leader to lead and supervise workshop technicians, ensure efficient repair operations, and maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and support technicians on a daily basis to ensure efficient workshop operations.Allocate repair jobs to technicians according to their skills, experience, and workload.Monitor job progress and ensure vehicles are repaired within the agreed time and quality standards.Diagnose and support technicians with complex technical issues and repair procedures.Ensure all repairs are carried out according to manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.Conduct quality control inspections and verify completed repairs before vehicle delivery.Support the Service Advisors and Job Controller with accurate technical information, repair status, and estimated completion times.Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and repair quality.Follow up on pending jobs, delayed repairs, parts availability, and technical concerns.Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and manufacturer standards.Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to technicians.Identify recurring technical problems and recommend corrective actions.Support warranty repairs and ensure warranty procedures and documentation are correctly followed.Minimize comebacks and repeat repairs by maintaining strong quality-control standards.Coordinate with Parts, Reception, Warranty, and Workshop Control to ensure smooth vehicle flow.Monitor workshop workload and assist management in achieving productivity and profitability targets.Prepare and communicate daily workshop updates and escalate critical issues to management.Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional behavior within the workshop.Ensure customer vehicles are handled with care and returned in proper condition.Candidate RequirementsMinimum 5–7 years of automotive workshop experience, preferably with a recognized automotive brand.Previous experience as a Team Leader, Foreman, Senior Technician, or Workshop Supervisor.Strong diagnostic and technical knowledge.Good leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage technicians and prioritize multiple repair jobs.Knowledge of workshop KPIs, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.Experience with automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop management systems.Manufacturer/dealership experience is preferred.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop environment.The ideal candidate should be technically strong, hands-on, organized, and capable of leading a team while maintaining high repair quality and customer satisfaction.
