Scope of work (JOB PURPOSE)Team Leaders are to support the E&E Manager in providing direction to the front-line team while ensuring the ongoing delivery of high departmental performance standards. They are responsible for ensuring that company standards and values are met and developed through working relationships at all levels.To enforce procedures, develop and implement training, and nurture a culture where the health and safety of our guests and staff are of paramount importance.Working closely with third-party contractors, the Procurement team, and other operating departments, the Team Leader will manage the distribution, allocation, laundering, adjustment (when required), auditing, tracking, and restocking of all LEGOLAND Dubai wardrobe assets on a daily basis, while working closely with the rest of the team.The Team Leader is expected to maintain healthy working relationships with all levels within the department.Main Responsibilities1. OperationsTo provide the safest possible environment for staff within the park facilities.To manage the exceptional uniform presentation standards demanded by the LEGOLAND Dubai product.To support the management of daily uniform and costume requirements and their distribution.To support the E&E Manager in managing, servicing, and auditing all daily laundry requirements through both internal operations and third-party contractors.To support the E&E Manager in the management of the Seamstress team in adjusting uniforms and costumes where required.To ensure the departmental team delivers to agreed service standards.To support the E&E Manager in organizing and implementing the training of the Wardrobe team to the required standards within the agreed timeframes.To maintain a safety-focused environment throughout the department, assisting with the creation and implementation of departmental training and auditing procedures.To work alongside key operational stakeholders within the theme park facility to ensure all standards and KPIs are met.To ensure risk assessments are carried out in line with procedures and updated regularly as ongoing "live" documents.To actively demonstrate the company values to all colleagues.To support the E&E Manager by conducting regular meetings with the direct team at required intervals and attending weekly meetings with the senior team to ensure a consistent flow of communication throughout the department and the company.2. MarketingContribute to Park Dynamic Events, supporting the operational team as and when necessary.Promote LEGOLAND Dubai as an employer of choice.3. FinancialTo work with the E&E Manager to identify and plan for contingencies as required.To work with the E&E Manager to manage OPEX wages and line items in order to achieve the budgets set.4. DevelopmentCommunicate on a continual basis with other departments to ensure best practices are achieved across the park.Use the department's historical data and information to maximize commercial opportunities.Set and agree individual objectives for direct reports in line with business strategy and team development.5. PeopleMotivate, manage, and develop the team in line with company standards and values.Promote a fun working environment.Apply positive performance management effectively throughout the team and minimize challenges within the team.Health & SafetyTo take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of other persons who may be affected by your work activities.To cooperate with and support LEGOLAND Dubai Management in enabling the business to fulfill its legal responsibilities through:Following reasonable instructions related to Health & Safety.Reporting dangerous situations or deficiencies in Health & Safety arrangements.Using work equipment only in accordance with training provided.Not interfering with or misusing anything provided for Health & Safety purposes.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsRequired ExperienceA minimum of 2 years' experience in an operational role.Job-Specific SkillsFluent in both written and spoken English.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, email, etc.Additional ExperiencePrevious experience leading a team.Strong understanding of the creation and management of risk assessments, SOPs, and EAPs within a Wardrobe function or similar industry.Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative, with strong problem-solving skills.Proven experience in supporting colleagues and staff, with demonstrated leadership and management skills.Customer service driven, with an understanding of guests' needs.Ability to make objective decisions quickly under stressful conditions, adapting to new demands and situations while remaining calm.Additional SkillsCompetent in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint).Fluent in written and spoken English.
