This is not a "pick one" role - you'll be the technical heartbeat of the team, designing scalable architectures across our full stack and AI/ML surfaces, streamlining release cycles and model-to-production pipelines, and mentoring a talented group of engineers to reach their full potential.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a track record of delivering 3+ major projects - including significant AI/ML work - from inception to deployment, we want to talk to you.🔧 What You'll OwnTechnical Leadership Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable system architectures across the MEAN/MERN stack, as well as AI/ML architectures spanning RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered products.Team Management Oversee a dedicated development team - including AI/ML engineers - conducting code and prompt reviews, providing technical mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence.DevOps, MLOps & Infrastructure Own CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure end-to-end, including model deployment pipelines, inference infrastructure, and vector stores, ensuring seamless releases to production.Release Management Drive the end-to-end release cycle across both product and AI features, coordinating between stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Hands-on Development This is a leadership role, but you're never far from the code - solving architectural bottlenecks, debugging model behavior, or tuning retrieval quality.Cost & Performance Optimization Own the cost-to-performance tradeoffs of LLM usage in production, including model selection, prompt/token efficiency, and inference cost monitoring.✅ What You BringExperience: 5+ years in professional software development, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior capacity.Full-Stack Mastery: Expert-level Python and Node.js, at least one modern JS framework (React/Angular), plus strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Express.js.AI/LLM Engineering: Deep, hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models), prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and multi-model/multi-tier orchestration strategies.Vector & Retrieval Systems: Working knowledge of vector databases - pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar.Proven Project Portfolio: 3+ significant projects delivered end-to-end, including meaningful AI/ML work - RAG pipelines, LLM fine-tuning, agentic systems, or AI-driven analytics.System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, database schema design, API optimization, and designing for LLM latency/cost/accuracy tradeoffs.Infrastructure: Solid working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), containerization, and cloud deployment environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), including serverless patterns for AI workloads.🙋 Who You AreA Bangalore Local - based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, and energized by an in-office, collaborative environment.A Problem Solver - you don't just fix a bug or a bad model output; you find the architectural or data flaws that caused it in the first place.A Communicator - you translate complex technical and AI/ML concepts into actionable tasks for your team and clear updates for leadership.🌟 Why Join KenpathYou'll have the autonomy to shape the technical direction of our products and AI systems while working out of the tech hub of India.
