Tech Lead — Full-Stack AI

Lead the team building AI-powered products for US clients — hands-on, end to end, from architecture to the client call.ABOUT XORORAWe build AI solutions, custom web & mobile products, MVPs, legacy modernization, CMS platforms, and UI/UX for US-based clients. Our AI practice spans AI agent development, ML & data science, and workflow automation.We're looking for a Tech Lead who is still deeply hands-on but ready to own technical direction — someone who sets the standard, mentors the team, and is confident leading the technical side of a live US client call.Note: this role serves US clients, so partial US-timezone overlap and strong client-facing communication are essential.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn technical architecture and delivery for AI-powered full-stack productsLead and mentor a small team of engineers — code reviews, standards, technical roadmapBuild AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM features tailored to client data and domainsDrive technical scoping on client calls — requirements, feasibility, and solution approachModernize legacy systems with clean, API-first architectureDeliver focused MVPs and POCs that prove value fastBalance hands-on building with unblocking the team and making the right trade-offsMUST-HAVE (PRIMARY FOCUS)6+ years of full-stack development, including team/technical leadershipFrontend: React & Next.js with TypeScript; strong component-driven UI (Tailwind/CSS)Backend: Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI, NestJS, or Express); solid REST & GraphQL designAI/LLM: hands-on with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, RAG pipelines, and vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector)AI agents: LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI — tool/function calling and orchestrationDatabases: PostgreSQL & MongoDBCloud: solid AWS, Docker, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)Proven ownership of architecture decisions and delivery on client-facing projectsNICE TO HAVE (A PLUS, NOT REQUIRED)ML & data science: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlowWorkflow automation: n8n, Zapier/Make, Temporal, or event-driven pipelinesMobile: React Native or FlutterHeadless CMS: Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, or PayloadDevOps depth: Terraform, KubernetesPrior experience at an agency serving US/international clientsCOMMUNICATION (ESSENTIAL)Excellent spoken & written English — you'll lead live calls with US clientsAble to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersConfident, pprofessional, and calm in client-facing conversations
