This is an opportunity to use your medical expertise beyond traditional clinical practice and help shape how AI systems understand, reason about, and communicate medicine.We are hiring technical specialists across delivery, quality, and research. Rather than fit every candidate into a predefined track, we want to understand where your clinical and technical expertise can have the greatest impact.What You’ll OwnDepending on your strengths, you may:Lead clinical delivery and serve as a technical point of contact for clientsDesign clinical quality frameworks and calibration approaches for medically trained teamsReview and improve clinical annotation guidelines and evaluation criteriaAssess AI outputs for diagnostic accuracy, clinical reasoning, treatment recommendations, and adherence to established evidenceCurate clinical guidelines, medical literature, and evidence used to develop and evaluate AI systemsAnalyze quality and delivery data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvementWork with engineers, data scientists, clinicians, and operations teams to improve AI workflows and evaluation methodsContribute to the development, testing, and evaluation of models, data pipelines, and technical solutionsWhat You Bring8+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years in AI/ML, data science, or data engineeringA medical degree is strongly preferred, particularly for candidates with internal medicine training or subspecialty experienceCandidates with degrees in nursing, pharmacy, or allied health disciplines and substantial clinical experience are also encouraged to applyCandidates with a technical degree and significant professional experience in clinical or medical content may also be consideredPhilippine board certification and PRC licensure are valuedWorking knowledge of clinical terminologies, medical coding systems, clinical practice guidelines, evidence hierarchies, and medical literature appraisalStrong understanding of clinical reasoning and the ability to evaluate whether medical content is accurate, appropriate, and supported by evidenceWorking knowledge of AI/ML model training and fine-tuning, LLM delivery, model evaluation, and MLOpsComfort working with data and following appropriate requirements for handling health and clinical informationStrong analytical judgment and the ability to communicate complex clinical concepts clearlyRelevant Clinical ExpertiseExperience in one or more of the following areas is highly relevant:Internal MedicineCardiologyEndocrinologyGastroenterologyNephrologyPulmonologyInfectious DiseaseRheumatologyHematologyOncologyClinical researchMedical writing and evidence synthesisClinical informaticsHealthcare AI or medical technologyCertification RequirementsCertification requirements vary by track:Delivery: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherQuality: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherResearch: No project certification required; clinical, scientific, and technical track record will be consideredHiring Process: Shortlisted candidates complete an English proficiency assessment and an SHL assessment.Equal Opportunity: Innodata is an equal opportunity employer.
