Technical Architect, Agentic AI

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect – Agentic AI to join our consulting team and work as an embedded resource with a leading government-sector client in Abu Dhabi.This role sits at the intersection of Agentic AI, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation, helping a government organization move from AI strategy and use cases to practical implementation.You will work directly with the client's business teams, technology teams, and implementation partners, including major technology and systems integration vendors, to design and guide the implementation of AI-enabled solutions.This is not a traditional enterprise architecture role. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience designing and implementing Agentic AI / Generative AI solutions and the ability to translate that practical experience into enterprise-scale architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with business stakeholders to identify and shape high-value Agentic AI use cases.Translate business requirements into practical AI and technical solutions.Design single-agent and multi-agent architectures and agentic workflows.Define agent orchestration, tools, APIs, RAG, memory, and human-in-the-loop patterns.Design AI solution integration with existing enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365.Define technical requirements, architecture, and integration specifications for implementation partners.Work closely with Systems Integrators (SIs) and technology vendors during solution design and implementation.Review and challenge vendor architectures and technical approaches where required.Define AI governance, security, data-access, and data-sovereignty requirements.Develop UAT scenarios and technical acceptance criteria for AI solutions.Lead or directly support client UAT execution, tracking pass/fail results against agreed acceptance criteria.Evaluate AI solution performance, reliability, scalability, and business fit.Own the technical sign-off gate before AI solutions move from vendor delivery into production.Identify unnecessary technical complexity and ensure solutions remain scalable and commercially sensible.Support the client in building internal capabilities to understand, govern, and adopt Agentic AI.Required QualificationsMinimum QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.Master's degree is an advantage.Degree must be attestable/equivalent for UAE work permit and MOHRE skill-level classification purposes.Essential Experience8+ years of experience in technology, solution architecture, digital transformation, or a related field.Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing AI / Generative AI solutions.Strong practical understanding of:Large Language Models (LLMs) and Small Language Models (SLMs)Generative AIAgentic AI and autonomous agent architecturesRAG and enterprise knowledge architecturesAI agents, orchestration, and multi-agent workflowsAPIs, tool/function calling, and enterprise integrationsVector databases and embedding architecturesAgent memory and context managementHuman-in-the-loop and AI governanceModel selection and evaluationAI inference, latency, and scalabilityUAT design, technical acceptance testing, and production sign-off processesExperience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data.Experience with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and/or Azure environments.Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical/engineering teams.Strong experience working with Systems Integrators and technology vendors.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.Desirable SkillsExperience working in government, public-sector, or regulated environments.Experience working in the UAE or GCC.Experience with sovereign cloud or government cloud environments.Experience with Core42 or comparable cloud/AI platforms.Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as:Microsoft Agent FrameworkSemantic KernelAutoGenLangChainEquivalent Agentic AI frameworksKnowledge of AI governance, Responsible AI, and data protection.Architecture certifications such as:TOGAFAzure ArchitectureEquivalent architecture certifications
