Job Title: Backend Architect – Node.jsExperience: 10+ YearsJob Type: Fulltime - Onsite - 5 daysJob Location: IndoreBudget: 30 - 40 LPAJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Backend Architect with 10+ years of experience in software engineering and strong expertise in Node.js and backend development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.Own complete backend architecture and system design for large-scale applications.Make architectural and technology decisions aligned with business and technical requirements.Design and implement REST APIs and API architecture.Design and develop microservices and distributed systems.Define database architecture and data management strategies.Design caching strategies for high-performance applications.Implement message queues and event-driven architectures.Design authentication and security mechanisms.Integrate third-party services and external systems.Define and implement cloud architecture.Ensure scalability, reliability, availability, and performance of backend systems.Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Establish architecture standards, best practices, and technical governance.Required Skills10+ years of software engineering experience.Deep expertise in Node.js and backend development.Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Backend Architect.Strong experience in backend architecture and system design.Strong understanding of:REST APIs and API architectureMicroservicesDistributed systemsDatabase architectureCachingMessage queues / Event-driven architectureAuthentication and securityThird-party integrationsCloud architectureScalability, reliability, and performanceStrong experience making architectural and technology decisions for large-scale applications.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
