Technical Architect

Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end technical architecture across ERP (Microsoft Business Central), WMS, and e-commerce platformsDesign and govern integrations between BC, WMS, Shopify, and marketplace/EDI connectionsLead evaluation and implementation of new system integrations, ensuring data flow, stock movement, and order processes are architected correctly from the startConfigure and govern middleware/integration layer choices to ensure reliable, maintainable data flow across ERP, WMS, and e-commerce platforms, avoiding point-to-point integrations that create long-term fragilityDefine and enforce data governance and architecture standards across brands and entities ensuring data securityAct as the technical escalation point for complex integration issues across ERP/WMS/e-commerceCreate technical documentation of system architecture, integration flows, and dependenciesSupport cross-functional stakeholders (finance, supply chain, e-commerce) in translating business requirements into technical solutionsRequirementsEssential:7+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, with strong hands-on background in ERP (Microsoft Business Central or equivalent)Proven experience architecting integrations between ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Strong knowledge of middleware/integration platforms (e.g. Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or similar iPaaS tools) for connecting ERP, WMS, and e-commerce systemsExperience with EDI/marketplace integrations (e.g. Frasers, Zalando, department stores)Strong understanding of stock movement, inventory, and order-to-fulfilment processesExperience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred) and their integration points with ERP/WMSTrack record of managing external implementation partners/vendors on technical deliveryStrong documentation and stakeholder communication skillsFluent in EnglishPreferred:Experience in fashion, apparel, or multi-brand retailFamiliarity with Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystemExperience operating across multiple legal entities/regions
