Role: Technical ArchitectDomain: Hospitality / Hotel Technology / Online Travel Agency (OTA)Experience: 12+ YearsLocation: Dubai, UAE (Onsite)About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect with strong experience in the Hospitality, Hotel Technology, or Online Travel Agency (OTA) domain to lead architecture design and technology transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions supporting hotel reservations, booking platforms, distribution systems, customer experience, and travel commerce ecosystems.This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and client leadership to define and implement technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive end-to-end solution architecture for hospitality and travel technology platforms.Lead architecture design for hotel booking, reservation management, channel distribution, loyalty, and customer engagement solutions.Develop scalable, secure, and high-availability architectures for enterprise applications and digital platforms.Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and engineering teams.Establish architecture standards, design principles, best practices, and governance frameworks.Drive cloud adoption, modernization initiatives, and digital transformation programs.Conduct architecture reviews, solution assessments, and performance optimization exercises.Lead integration design involving third-party systems, payment gateways, CRM, PMS, RMS, and distribution platforms.Support pre-sales, client discussions, solution estimations, and proposal creation when required.Mentor development teams and provide guidance on emerging technologies and architectural patterns.Required Experience12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture roles.Strong experience in Hospitality, Hotel Technology, Travel Commerce, or OTA platforms.Proven expertise in enterprise-scale application architecture and digital transformation programs.Experience designing high-volume transaction systems supporting online booking and reservation workflows.Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.Domain Expertise (Must Have)Experience in one or more of the following:Hotel Reservation Systems (CRS)Property Management Systems (PMS)Online Travel Agencies (OTA)Hotel Distribution PlatformsBooking EnginesRevenue Management Systems (RMS)Loyalty ProgramsChannel Management PlatformsTravel Marketplace PlatformsCustomer Experience and Personalization SolutionsTechnical SkillsMicroservices ArchitectureAPI-led Integration and API ManagementEvent-Driven ArchitectureCloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Enterprise Integration PatternsCI/CD and DevOps PracticesApplication Security and Performance EngineeringDatabase Architecture (SQL and NoSQL)System Scalability, Reliability, and High Availability DesignPreferred ExperienceExperience with leading hospitality platforms such as:Oracle Hospitality OPERAAmadeus HospitalitySabre Hospitality SolutionsTravelportSiteMinderSynXisExpedia Group Partner SolutionsBooking.com Connectivity SolutionsExperience with payment integrations and global distribution systems (GDS).Knowledge of modern travel retailing, personalization, and digital customer journey solutions.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.TOGAF certification preferred.Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) desirable.Architecture-related certifications preferred.
