The manager will manage all technical AV/event systems and infrastructure within NC, including advanced AV and lighting systems within the auditorium. He/she will ensure smooth conduct of all events, including pre-emptive measures and incident management.Roles & ResponsibilitiesOversee AV/events team to operate, manage AV & lighting systems within the auditorium and all event spaces, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and optimal performance.Read technical riders, schematics, and system documentation to convert requirements into actionable show execution plans.Develop, implement and document protocols for the proper use, storage, and maintenance of technical equipment to prolong its lifespan and reliability.Proactively manage, maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical faults and resolve technical incidents to ensure minimal disruption to eventsEvaluate, recommend, and implement upgrades or enhancements to technical equipment and systems, including maintenance to align with industry standards and business needs.Manage third-party AV partners, freelance technicians, equipment rental vendors, and specialist contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.Evaluate vendor performance and recommend changes or improvements as needed.Facility & Event ManagementLead the AV & Events team to deliver high-quality event experience.Schedule bookings, manage logistics, and act as the main contact for event organizers.Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and venue policies.Manage operational costs, hiring support staff, and training crews.Prepare post-event reports and analyze event performance.Oversee maintenance and life-cycle management of auditorium equipment/facilities.Who we are looking for Bachelor's degree / diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Broadcasting, Media Technology) or equivalent experience.Comprehensive technical expertise in professional audio setups, video and projection systems, stage lighting, media servers, show control systems, and AV network integration technologies.Proven experience in technical management, preferably in an auditorium or studio environment.Hands-on experience operating video conferencing platforms (such as Zoom and Google Meet) is a bonus.Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in auditorium/studio operationsExcellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
