Technical Bid Writer (Construction) – FranceCLIENTLinum Consult is working with a leading international construction group to recruit an experienced Technical Bid Writer for its international proposals team in the Paris region.This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished writer who enjoys taking complex technical and engineering information and transforming it into clear, persuasive and compelling bid content.Working alongside Proposal Managers, Business Developers and technical specialists, you will contribute to major international tenders for complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including tunnels, bridges, roads, marine works and geotechnical projects.This is much more than an editing role. You will help shape the narrative behind major bids, understanding what the client is asking for, extracting the right information from technical teams and communicating the organisation's technical capability and value proposition convincingly.RESPONSIBILITIESWriting, developing and editing high-quality technical and commercial bid contentTranslating complex engineering and construction information into clear, compelling narrativesWorking closely with engineering teams and subject matter experts to obtain and develop technical contentProducing material covering construction methodologies, design capability, project delivery, risk, quality, HSE, sustainability, PPP delivery and plant & equipmentEnsuring submissions respond accurately and convincingly to tender requirementsMaintaining consistency, quality and accuracy across bid documentationDeveloping executive summaries, project descriptions and corporate capability contentContributing to the development and continuous improvement of an international proposal-content libraryPROFILEMinimum 5 years' experience within bid writing, technical writing, proposal development or a similar positionOutstanding written and spoken English, with the ability to produce polished professional and technical contentPrevious experience working within a bid or tender environmentAbility to analyse tender documentation and understand client requirementsConfidence working directly with engineers and technical specialistsStrong planning, coordination and time-management skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively to demanding deadlinesDegree in Engineering, Architecture, Journalism, Commerce, Marketing or a related disciplineAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsBasic French would be advantageousThe right to live and work in the EUAPPLICATION PROCESSIf you fulfil the minimum requirements stipulated by our client and are confidentially interested in applying, then please drop Linum Consult a line with a copy of your CV and contact details to europe@linumconsult.com for the attention of Neill Donald.
