Growth has been rapid, and the commercial side of the business is performing well.This is a business that genuinely embraces modern tools, including AI-assisted development, and expects its people to work the same way.About The RoleThis is a hands-on Technical Business Analyst role for someone who wants to fix problems, not just document them. You'll work across sales, operations, installers and finance to map workflows end to end, identify where processes break down, and then build the solution yourself using AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor to turn findings into working systems rather than static requirements documents.Key responsibilities include:Mapping and improving cross-functional workflows, identifying manual steps, double handling and data gapsOwning the data layer, writing and optimising SQL in BigQuery, modelling data from source systems, reconciling records, and building reporting/dashboardsSpecifying and building integrations between platforms such as Cin7, HubSpot and other operational systems (API mapping, data rules, error handling, monitoring)Automating repetitive work through scheduled jobs, triggered workflows or AI agentsBuilding and extending React front ends for internal tools (CRM views, scheduling, installer workflows, ticketing)Running delivery, writing PRDs, prioritising the backlog, running UAT, and taking changes through to go-liveKeeping data definitions, integration specs and process maps currentAbout You5+ years' experience as a technical BA, systems analyst or product analyst in a delivery-heavy environmentStrong SQL skills, ideally with BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse (joins, CTEs, window functions, data quality checks)Integration experience with REST APIs, webhooks and JSON, and hands-on exposure to platforms like HubSpot, Cin7, Unleashed or XeroComfortable reading, editing and shipping React/JavaScript/TypeScript front-end code, with AI tools accelerating the workGenuine, demonstrable experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar), you know how to review and test the output, not just accept itA process-improvement mindset and the confidence to work directly with frontline teams to turn messy workflows into clear future statesA bias toward shipping working fixes over handing over specsPython for scripting and data pipelinesExposure to MCP, LLM agents or workflow tools such as n8n, Make or ZapierGoogle Cloud experience beyond BigQuery (e.g. Cloud Functions, Scheduler)
