8Cloud Technologies is looking for a Technical Business Analyst who can understand client goals, define clear requirements, and work closely with delivery teams to turn those requirements into successful digital solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with both business stakeholders and technical teams, asks the right questions, and pays close attention to the details that affect delivery.
Location: Karachi, onsiteWorking hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AMEmployment type: Full-timeExperience: 5–7 yearsKey responsibilitiesLead requirement-gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business goals, processes, challenges, and expected outcomes.Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other project documentation.Analyse requirements to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and areas that need clarification before development begins.Work with developers, designers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure everyone has a shared understanding of the scope and expected functionality.Participate in solution discussions and help assess whether proposed approaches meet business requirements.Maintain and update requirements as projects evolve, documenting changes and their impact on scope and timelines.Review designs and completed features against approved requirements, and support QA and user acceptance testing.Communicate progress, decisions, and open questions clearly to clients and internal teams.Requirements5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably in software development or digital solutions.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile ways of working, and requirement documentation.Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows.Confidence discussing requirements with clients and explaining them to technical teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder discussions professionally.Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify unclear requirements, inconsistencies, and potential issues early.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation platforms is an advantage.How to applySend your CV to careers@eightct.com with “Technical Business Analyst” in the email subject line.
