Role: Technical Business Analyst (Data & AI)Location: Utrecht, NetherlandsWorking Hours: 36 hours per weekContract Start Date: 08 July 2026Contract End Date: 30 June 2027Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Technical Business Analyst (Data & AI) who can effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The successful candidate will gather user requirements based on internal use cases for an agentic AI platform, translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and collaborate closely with external vendors to ensure successful delivery.The role requires a proactive individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, creates clarity amidst ambiguity, and drives initiatives forward. The candidate will also be responsible for validating new features, ensuring usability for end users, and maintaining close alignment with stakeholders across the organization.Some travel may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze business requirements for Data & AI initiatives and agentic platforms.Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.Collaborate closely with external vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.Test and validate new features before release.Ensure solutions are user-friendly and aligned with business needs.Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.Drive initiatives proactively in a dynamic environment.Support delivery processes and stakeholder alignment across teams.Create clarity and structure in complex and evolving environments.Required Experience2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical, data, or AI-focused environment.Previous hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.Strong understanding of:Data workflowsAnalyticsMachine Learning conceptsExperience working within consulting environments is preferred.Exposure to start-up or fast-paced organizations is highly desirable.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.PhD qualification is considered a strong advantage.Key SkillsStrong analytical and structured thinking skills.Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.Proactive, ownership-driven, and results-oriented mindset.Strong stakeholder management and vendor management capabilities.Experience with:Requirements gatheringUser acceptance testingFeature validationDelivery supportExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities.Team player with a hands-on approach.Candidate ProfileExperience operating at the intersection of business and technology.Comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.Ability to challenge, influence, and align multiple stakeholders.Demonstrated ownership and problem-solving capabilities.Strong understanding of AI and data-driven business processes.
