Technical Co-Founder & CTO — Khibra📍 UAE / Remote💼 Co-Founder | Equity-Based Opportunity🚀 Early Stage | MVP DevelopmentAbout KhibraKhibra is an early-stage UAE-based HRTech / Talent Intelligence startup being built to better connect talent, universities, and employers through data, technology, and eventually AI-powered career and workforce intelligence.We are currently building our MVP.The product is being developed on Laravel using an existing JobBox foundation, with custom UI/UX and product experiences being designed specifically for Khibra.We are now looking for a Technical Co-Founder & CTO to join at this early stage and take ownership of Khibra’s technology journey — from completing the MVP to building the scalable technology and AI capabilities behind the platform as the company grows.What You’ll OwnAs Technical Co-Founder, you will work directly with the Founder and take responsibility for the technical side of Khibra.Initially, your focus will be to:• Take ownership of the existing Laravel/JobBox codebase• Integrate custom UI/UX designs into the working product• Develop and improve frontend and backend functionality• Build and maintain databases, APIs, authentication, user roles and platform workflows• Improve code quality, performance, security and reliability• Manage deployment, hosting, version control and technical infrastructure• Define the technical architecture required to launch the MVP• Make pragmatic build-vs-rebuild decisions as the product evolvesLonger term, you will help architect Khibra beyond its initial MVP, including its data and AI capabilities, technical roadmap, infrastructure and future engineering team.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a strong hands-on builder, not someone who only wants to manage an engineering team.You should have strong experience with:• PHP & Laravel• Full-stack web development• HTML, CSS and JavaScript• MySQL / relational databases• REST APIs and third-party integrations• Authentication and role-based access• Git / version control• Deployment, servers and production environments• Working with and improving existing codebases• Translating UI/UX designs into responsive, functional productsAI Experience Is a Strong AdvantageKhibra’s long-term vision goes beyond a traditional recruitment platform.Experience with AI/LLM integrations, recommendation or matching systems, embeddings, RAG, AI APIs, data-driven products or related technologies would therefore be a significant advantage.You do not need to be an AI researcher.
