TECHNICAL CO-FOUNDER / CTO - Platform Engineering, Architecture & Digital Infrastructure

Pawayu Africa is building an Industrial Operating Platform — the infrastructure layer for Africa’s industrial economy.We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Bubble Developer / Software Engineer with strong frontend + backend engineering capability to join us at a critical stage of the platform's development.This is not a conventional Bubble developer role.We already have a substantial platform foundation. The immediate challenge is to help us:🔹 Conduct a comprehensive technical audit🔹 Refine and stabilize the existing MVP🔹 Review and strengthen the architecture🔹 Complete critical web/mobile development🔹 Integrate APIs and external systems🔹 Strengthen marketplace and vendor workflows🔹 Develop My Garage & Asset Management🔹 Build the foundation for Digital Asset Passport & Industrial Asset Identity🔹 Develop Platform Agents & Acceptance🔹 Support GPS/Telematics/IoT integrations🔹 Prepare the platform for real-world pilot deployment🔹 Establish technical documentation, testing and deployment standardsWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORSomeone who is genuinely strong in:Bubble + Software Engineering + Frontend + Backend + APIs + Databases + ArchitectureExperience with some of the following is highly valuable:

• Node.js / Python
• REST APIs & Webhooks
• Mobile development
• Cloud/backend infrastructure
• IoT / GPS / Telematics
• Wialon / Teltonika / Technoton / Traccar
• AI/API integrations
• Marketplace, logistics, fleet or asset-management platformsMost importantly, we need someone who can audit an existing platform, understand what is already there, identify what needs to change, stabilize it and make sound architectural decisions.We are not looking for someone who wants to rebuild everything from scratch. 🌍 THE INITIAL ENGAGEMENT90–120 days10–15 hours/weekUS$500–US$700/month development allowanceThis is an initial founder-stage development allowance, not the eventual CTO salary.📈 FOUNDER EQUITYWe are prepared to discuss:12% Founder Equitysubject to mutual agreement, founder documentation, vesting, contribution/commitment terms and formal corporate approval.The longer-term objective is for the successful candidate to transition into the formal:Technical Co-Founder & CTOrole as Pawayu moves into commercial deployment, revenue and further funding.WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?You will not simply be building another marketplace.You will be helping build infrastructure connecting:Industrial Commerce
