Technical Designer (Joinery and Architectural Fit out)

Tripod is seeking an experienced Technical Designer (Joinery and Architectural Fitout expert) to join our Joinery Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of joinery, shop drawings ( Furniture), architectural drawings, interior details, and joinery fabrication processes, with the ability to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings for production and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed joinery shop drawings, architectural details, and production drawings.Develop technical drawings for bespoke furniture, interiors, wall cladding, doors, kitchens, and custom joinery elements.Interpret architectural, interior design, and consultant drawings to create accurate joinery solutions.Coordinate with architects, designers, project managers, and production teams.Ensure drawings align with design intent, project specifications, and manufacturing requirements.Review drawings and incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and internal teams.Provide technical support during production and installation stages.Maintain accurate drawing records and project documentation.Take site measurements/ surveys as and when required.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery drafting, architectural drafting, or interior fit-out.Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, joinery construction, and interior materials and finishes.Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar software is an advantage.Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.Good communication (English)
