Zerra DC is part of AGP Sustainable Real Assets, a global infrastructure and real assets business with more than 800 professionals across 15 offices.Western Downs Digital ParkWestern Downs Digital Park is a major new hyperscale data centre campus at Kogan in Queensland. Planned across multiple delivery phases, it brings together AI-ready data centres, energy infrastructure and a purpose-built campus environment. This is an opportunity to help shape the technical foundations of a critical new digital infrastructure asset from the ground up.The roleThe Technical Director will be the principal technical authority for Western Downs Digital Park, accountable for design outcomes across the project. You will lead the multidisciplinary design and engineering team and provide end-to-end technical leadership from concept design through delivery, commissioning and handover.This is a senior project leadership role for an experienced data centre professional who can establish technical direction, integrate multiple engineering disciplines and lead delivery at pace. You will also serve as the senior technical representative to customers, translating their requirements while protecting design integrity, programme, cost and operability.What you will lead

• Technical and design direction across the full WDDP project lifecycle.
• The multidisciplinary project engineering team across electrical, mechanical, high-voltage, energystorage, controls and owner-supplied equipment.
• Technical interfaces and dependencies across consultants, contractors, suppliers and internalworkstreams.
• The early identification and resolution of design risks, technical issues and decisions affectingprogramme, cost, quality or delivery.
• Customer technical engagement, including requirements, queries, deviations and change requests.
• A clear, accountable and delivery-focused engineering culture.What you will bringYou will be a senior technical leader with substantial experience designing and delivering hyperscale or large-scale data centre projects. You will combine deep technical credibility with the judgement to lead specialists, customers and delivery partners through complex decisions.
• End-to-end technical responsibility across major data centre projects or campuses, ideally through at least two complete lifecycles from concept to handover.
• Deep understanding of multidisciplinary data centre design, systems integration, resilience andcommissioning.
• Practical exposure to liquid cooling and the requirements of AI-ready, high-density facilities.
• Experience gained within a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, developer, operator or delivery organisation.
• The ability to translate technical positions into programme, cost, constructability and operationalimplications.
• Credible leadership with customers, senior stakeholders and high-performing specialist teams.The opportunityThis is the principal technical appointment for WDDP and an opportunity to shape the design of a major new digital and energy precinct from its foundations.
