We are a growing recycling facility looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Technical & Maintenance Lead / Engineer to oversee our plant operations, production machinery, and maintenance strategies.​In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, minimizing downtime, leading technical maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical), and ensuring full regulatory compliance with local UAE authorities.​Key Responsibilities:​Plant Machinery Maintenance: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for processing machines, sorting lines, balers, crushers, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.​Production Line Efficiency: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues immediately to ensure continuous production and zero unplanned factory downtime.​Spare Parts & Inventory Management: Identify required spare parts, establish critical stock levels, and coordinate with procurement to secure high-quality replacements.​Compliance & Safety Oversight: Ensure all technical operations, safety controls, and machinery setups strictly comply with local UAE environmental and municipal regulations.​Team Guidance & Troubleshooting: Supervise on-site technicians and machine operators, ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.​Key Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements:​Location: Currently based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with immediate availability or standard notice period.​Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on technical and maintenance experience in manufacturing, production lines, or industrial plants (recycling/plastics/heavy manufacturing experience is a major plus).​Regulatory Approval: Must be approved/certified by Dubai Municipality (DM) or eligible for immediate technical compliance clearance with local municipal authorities.​Technical Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical systems, and basic PLC/Electrical control panels.​Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.​Languages & Communication: Professional proficiency in English; strong communication skills to manage technical staff and interact with local inspectors.
