From AV to smart buildings, you’ll join a collaborative team that integrates forward-thinking tech into the spaces of tomorrow.Your RoleAssist in the design, engineering, and implementation of ELV security systems in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards. Support the preparation of engineering documentation, including shop drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment layouts, bills of quantities (BOQs), material submittals, and technical reports. Assist in selecting equipment and preparing technical calculations under the guidance of senior engineers. Participate in site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments to support engineering design and project planning. Support the installation, configuration, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of ELV security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Management Systems (VMS), Intercom, and related security platforms. Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate project execution and resolve routine technical queries. Support preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, software updates, and system upgrades for installed security systems. Maintain accurate engineering records, document technical activities, and update project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in technical meetings, project coordination sessions, and design reviews as required. Stay informed about new ELV security technologies, industry standards, manufacturer products, and engineering best practices. Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the Line Manager. What We’re Looking ForBasic knowledge of ELV security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Management Systems (VMS), Intercom, and related technologies. Understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles applicable to ELV systems. Basic knowledge of IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, IP addressing, switching, routing, VLANs, and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to Revit/BIM is an advantage. Basic understanding of system installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes. Practical exposure to ELV security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Management Systems (VMS), Intercom, and integrated security platforms. Basic experience with security system configuration, device setup, software installation, and troubleshooting activities. Desirable Exposure to security system integrations with Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address Systems, and other ELV platforms. Familiarity with security equipment from leading manufacturers and their configuration tools. Exposure to testing tools and practices for ELV installation verification and fault diagnosis. Experience & QualificationBachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution. Relevant technical certifications or vocational qualifications in ELV, security systems, networking, or electronics are an advantage. More than 2 years of experience in ELV systems, security systems, electrical/electronic systems, or related engineering fields. Basic understanding of ELV security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intercom, Video Management Systems (VMS), and integrated security solutions. Exposure to installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, or maintenance activities of ELV security systems is preferred.
