Potential team members join a company that values long-term partnerships and continuous improvement in hospitality supply.Role Description The Technical Engineer Kitchen Equipment role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring proper performance and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, performing routine inspections, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The Technical Engineer will support kitchen staff with equipment usage guidelines, contribute to layout and design recommendations for new projects, and respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner. The role also requires adherence to company procedures, participation in quality and safety audits, and continuous improvement of service processes.Qualifications Technical expertise in commercial kitchen equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of food preparation, cooking processes, and kitchen workflows to align equipment performance with operational needs.Strong understanding of hygiene, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in commercial kitchens.Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field; technical certifications in kitchen or HVAC equipment are an advantage.Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and prepare clear maintenance and service reports.Experience in hospitality, facilities management, or food service operations within the GCC region is preferred.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
