Technical Evaluator – Operations

We are seeking an experienced Technical Evaluator – Operations to provide technical assessment, evaluation, and operational support across critical refinery process units, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with engineering and safety standards.RequirementsEngineering degree (Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline)Minimum 15 years' experience in refinery operationsProven experience in: Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU), Unsaturated Gas Plant, Alkylation Unit, Sulfuric Acid Recovery Unit, Selective Hydrogenation UnitPrior experience in a Saudi Aramco or major refinery environment preferredKey ResponsibilitiesConduct technical evaluations and performance assessments of refinery process units and operationsProvide operational and technical support for Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU), Unsaturated Gas Plant, Alkylation Unit, Sulfuric Acid Recovery Unit, and Selective Hydrogenation UnitReview and analyze process data to identify performance gaps, deviations, and improvement opportunitiesEvaluate operational procedures, technical proposals, and contractor submissions related to process unitsSupport troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigations for process upsetsCoordinate with process engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on unit performance and reliabilityEnsure evaluations align with HSE, quality, and refinery operating standardsPrepare technical evaluation reports and recommendations for operational improvementsSupport turnaround planning and technical readiness reviews for relevant units
