Technical Facade Coordinator

Profession Aluminium is looking for an experienced Technical Façade Coordinator to join our Dubai team and support our ongoing high-rise façade projects.Profession Aluminium has been active in the aluminium and glass industry since 1987, delivering façade systems and architectural aluminium works across the Middle East.📍 Location: Dubai, UAE🏗 Industry: Façade / Aluminium & Glass💼 Employment: Full-TimeRole DescriptionFull-time, on-site role responsible for coordinating all technical façade activities from IFC review through approvals, fabrication and installation, ensuring deliverables are technically correct, properly coordinated and aligned with project priorities and site requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview architectural, structural and façade drawings, specifications and engineering documents; identify clashes, discrepancies, missing information and required RFIs.Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, structural calculations, fabrication lists and technical details with the external technical team, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and according to project priorities.Coordinate with the main contractor, consultant, designers, suppliers and site teams, attend technical meetings, close comments and follow submissions through approval.Review material submittals and other technical submissions and provide technical feedback where required.Coordinate façade structural, wind load, thermal and other performance requirements with relevant specialists.Maintain clear tracking and documentation of submissions, revisions, comments, approvals and fabrication releases.Ensure approved requirements are correctly reflected in fabrication and installation, and support resolution of technical and site coordination issues.RequirementsDegree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of façade / aluminium and glass experience, preferably on high-rise projects.Strong knowledge of façade systems, detailing, fabrication, installation and performance requirements.Strong ability to review and coordinate architectural, structural and façade drawings.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Good understanding of BIM workflows, with practical experience in Revit and Navisworks for model navigation and coordination.Strong experience with shop drawings, RFIs, calculations, fabrication documentation and technical submissions.Strong self-management, organization, communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to understand work sequence, identify priorities and plan technical deliverables based on fabrication, procurement and site needs.UAE façade experience is preferred.Experience with large-scale residential, commercial or mixed-use high-rise projects is an advantage.Interested candidates may send their CV and relevant project experience.
