A dedicated 24/7 customer care line and specialized technical support ensure safe, reliable, and trouble-free operation of all supplied products.Role Description The Technical Field Engineer will perform on-site installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, moving walks, and other building equipment supplied by MAAS. This full-time hybrid role is based in Riyadh, with a combination of field visits to customer sites and some work-from-home tasks such as documentation, reporting, and remote support. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance, coordinating with project managers and technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves providing technical support to customers, preparing service reports, maintaining accurate records of site activities, and assisting in training junior technicians. The Technical Field Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.Qualifications Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electro-mechanical systems and building equipment.Hands-on field service experience, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and site inspections.Technical support capabilities, including remote guidance, issue resolution, and clear technical documentation.Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to lifting and building systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.Proficiency in basic computer tools for reporting, documentation, and communication.Willingness to travel within the region for site visits and to work flexible hours when required.Previous experience with elevators, escalators, overhead cranes, or similar building equipment is an advantage.
