We're building a strong technical foundation and are looking for an experienced technical leader to head our engineering, design, and service operations.About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with strong domain expertise in RO plants, water softeners, plumbing, pumps, and VFDs — including end-to-end system design and execution. The ideal candidate will be capable of interpreting water testing reports, designing treatment systems from scratch, overseeing on-ground execution, and training our technician workforce to deliver excellence in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & EngineeringDesign RO plants, water softener systems, and plumbing layouts based on site requirements and water testing dataPrepare technical drawings, P&IDs, and system specifications for new installationsSize and select pumps, motors, VFDs, membranes, vessels, and piping for each projectDevelop cost-effective, scalable system designs for residential, commercial, and industrial clientsExecution & Project DeliveryLead end-to-end installation, commissioning, and handover of RO plants and water softener systemsSupervise on-site execution teams to ensure adherence to design, timelines, and quality standardsCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment procurement and installationConduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for new projectsTechnical OperationsOversee plumbing, pump, and VFD configuration, operation & troubleshootingAnalyze water testing reports (TDS, hardness, pH, iron, microbial parameters, etc.) and recommend suitable treatment solutionsDiagnose and resolve technical issues across RO systems, softeners, pumps, and plumbingTraining & Team ManagementDesign and conduct technical training programs for field techniciansBuild and standardize SOPs for design, installation, execution, and quality controlManage and mentor a team of technicians, engineers, and site supervisorsStrategy & SupportEvaluate new equipment, technologies, and vendors to improve efficiencySupport sales/operations teams with technical scoping, costing, and proposals for client projectsEnsure compliance with water quality, safety, and industry standardsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years' experience strictly in the Water Industry — RO plants, water softeners, plumbing & pump systems (no exceptions)Proven experience in system design (RO/softener sizing, layout planning, technical specifications)Proven experience in project execution (site installation, commissioning, vendor/contractor coordination)Strong hands-on knowledge of VFDs — installation, programming, troubleshootingAbility to read and act on water testing/lab reportsPrior experience training or mentoring technical teamsStrong field troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood leadership and communication skillsPreferredPrior team-lead/managerial experience in the water treatment industryExposure to automation/IoT-based water monitoring systemsExperience handling multiple simultaneous project sitesWhat We Offer₹10 – 12 LPA compensationLeadership role shaping EcoWell's technical roadmap, design standards, and training programsOpportunity to grow with a fast-scaling water solutions company
