Technical IT Project Manager

We are looking to hire a Technical IT Project Manager who will be responsible for leading complex Microsoft transformation programmes for our client, a semi-government company based in Dubai, UAE.This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable. We are looking for an experienced Technical IT Project Manager who can successfully lead multiple interconnected technology initiatives across Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and enterprise integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and governance skills, with the ability to deliver large-scale digital transformation programmes across multiple business functions.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of four strategic Microsoft transformation workstreams, including UiPath to Microsoft Copilot Studio migration, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and cross-platform integration.Develop and manage project plans, roadmaps, governance frameworks, RACI matrices, risk registers, and executive reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Drive the migration of existing UiPath automations to Microsoft Copilot Studio, ensuring business continuity and successful adoption of Microsoft AI capabilities.Coordinate Microsoft Fabric delivery, overseeing workspace planning, capacity management, data pipelines, governance, and platform performance.Manage Power Platform initiatives, ensuring Power Apps and Power Automate solutions progress through development, testing, deployment, and production successfully.Coordinate integration activities across Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI workstreams while ensuring security, compliance, and governance standards are met.Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and technical challenges to minimise delivery impacts.Lead cross-functional collaboration between IT, Data & AI, HR, Finance, Operations, business stakeholders, Microsoft specialists, and third-party vendors.Oversee project governance through regular stand-ups, sprint reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive status reporting.Drive organisational change management, communications, training, and user adoption activities to support successful implementation across all workstreams.Monitor project scope, licensing requirements, budgets, benefits realisation, and delivery milestones, providing clear reporting to senior leadership.Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and compliance standards throughout delivery.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years' experience managing enterprise IT, digital transformation, or technology programmes involving multiple concurrent workstreams.Demonstrated experience delivering Microsoft technology projects within enterprise environments.Strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise integration.Experience managing automation or RPA projects, including UiPath or similar platforms.Strong knowledge of data platform delivery, analytics projects, governance frameworks, and enterprise architecture principles.Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business users.Experience leading Agile, Scrum, hybrid, or traditional project delivery methodologies.PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification is highly preferred.Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.Availability:Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within a maximum of 30 days after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.
