Technical Lead | Oil & Gas / Energy

Qualifications8+ years backend or full-stack engineering; 3+ years leading teams of 8 or more. Expert in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js/TypeScript, plus working Python. Production experience with Camunda (or comparable BPM engine), Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker/Kubernetes. Strong API design and distributed-systems fundamentalsResponsibility:Translate the architecture into technical designs, sprint plans, and engineering tasks across backend, frontend, integration, and AI streams. Own code quality: reviews, branching strategy, definition of done, technical debt management. Build critical components hands-on (risk calculation engine, Camunda process framework, audit trail). Coordinate closely with QA on testability and with DevOps on release pipelines. Mentor engineers and unblock technical issues quickly to protect the milestone schedule.
