Technical Lead - SAP Fiori and ABAP

We are looking to hire a Technical Lead - SAP ABAP & Fiori who will be responsible for development and support in the implementation of S/4Hana for our client based in Dubai, a leading Semi-Government entity in the UAE and a global leader in its industry.This position is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.You will be responsible for supporting end-to-end S/4HANA implementation for the client. You will drive the development in ABAP, Fiori frameworks and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver high-quality development across the phases of SAP implementation.Key responsibilities: Participate in all phases of the SAP S/4HANA lifecycle (Explore, Realize, Deploy, Hypercare)Develop and maintain WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).Implement and oversee ABAP programs, including ALV Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, OData Services, CDS Views, and AMDPs.Design and develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE or Business Application Studio.Work closely with functional, data, integration, and security teams to gather and analyze requirements.Support integration with SAP standard modules and external systems through REST, OData, and SOAP services.Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing.Collaborate with middleware and SAP Security teams to ensure proper integration and access control.Ensure compliance with development and security standards.Maintain quality and performance benchmarks for all technical solutions and troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.Knowledge, skills & experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including a minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.Deep knowledge of S/4HANA data models, CDS Views, OData services and embedded analytics.Deep knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and API Management (preferred).Understanding of SAP Activate methodology and workstream outputsExperience with Git-based version control, DevOps pipelines, CTS+Ability to design scalable solutions from functional requirementsPreferred certifications:SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP for SAP S/4HANASAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Fiori Application DeveloperAvailability:Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum 30 days after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in United Arab Emirates.
