Technical Lead - US Sports

We are a small, world-class quantitative trading firm where machine learning, neural networks and advanced data engineering drive our algorithmic trading strategies.We are building a new trading operation targeting emerging prediction markets in the UK and the rapidly growing US sports market, and we are recruiting an ambitious Technical Lead dedicated to build this operation from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be the Technical Lead of a small cross-functional team operating across development, quantitative modelling and trading, working alongside experienced quants, traders and developers from across the company. You will design and build critical systems yourself while providing technical supervision, engineering standards and mentorship for the rest of the team to move quickly without compromising the reliability of a live trading operation.You will lead and own the development of systems including:Low-latency data and trading infrastructure across multiple platformsAutomated execution and order-management systemsInfrastructure for deploying quantitative models and trading strategies into productionSystems for managing positions, capital, risk and exposureResearch and simulation tooling for testing new strategiesMonitoring and observability for a live, automated trading operationIntegrations with new exchanges, data providers and other external systemsYou will have significant freedom to shape the architecture, technology and development practices of the team. The roadmap will evolve quickly as the markets develop and our operations mature.
