Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager / Technical Lead to act as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to the Development Lead. This is a leadership-focused role centered on architecture, technical governance, and engineering excellence rather than day-to-day software development.You will guide the development team, help shape technical direction, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions while working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical strategies.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the Development Lead to make sound technical and architectural decisions.Analyze business and customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Define, maintain, and evolve the software architecture.Evaluate solution designs, technical approaches, and implementation strategies.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team.Support feature planning, estimation, and prioritization from a technical perspective.Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and engineering best practices.Ensure consistency in technical direction across the development team.Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.Identify technical risks, particularly within legacy applications, and develop practical mitigation and modernization strategies.Drive technical quality, governance, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.Required Technical Skills:Expert-level experience with:.NET / C#Software Architecture (including Clean Architecture principles)BlazorModern Web UI frameworksBackend technologies, APIs, and servicesREST and SOAP integrationsMicrosoft SQL Server and SQL developmentProven experience working with and modernizing legacy systems.Strong understanding of:Software design principles and architectural patternsCoding standards and best practicesTechnical governance and quality assuranceScalable, maintainable software design
