- Direct, review and approve product design and changes.
- Review and recommend or approve materials and cost estimates and preparing comparison statements.
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. Knowledge:
- Engineering and Technology. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Engineering degree – Civil. Professional engineering certification where applicable.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of civil high-rise buildings, commercial or industrial construction experience including direct experience supervising major construction sites.
- Classified Unlimited Floors Engineer
- Sound knowledge of engineering design and construction codes.
- Excellent construction scheduling and site management skills.
- Strong budget management and cost reporting skills.
- Experience in dealing with and responding to sub-contractor variance reports and claims settlements.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and supervise 3rd party contractors.
