Technical Manager Fit-out

Role Description The Technical Manager Fit-out is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for overseeing the technical execution of interior fit-out projects from concept through completion. This role includes leading project planning, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with design, procurement, and site teams, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Technical Manager will manage project timelines, monitor progress on site, resolve technical issues, and provide guidance to engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Daily responsibilities also involve client and consultant coordination, technical support to the project team, and continuous improvement of fit-out methods and materials to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Applicants can expect to join a growing organization with experienced management and a reputation for excellence in interior fit-out.QualificationsStrong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management for interior fit-out projects.Proficiency in team management, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary site and office teams and foster effective collaboration.Robust analytical skills to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data, and to solve complex site and design challenges.Experience in providing technical support for fit-out works, including coordination with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.Exposure to research and development (R&D) related to materials, construction methods, and innovative fit-out solutions.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.Proven experience in high-end interior fit-out projects, preferably within hospitality, commercial, or residential sectors in the GCC.Strong knowledge of building codes, local regulations, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, consultants, and contractors.Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project or similar planning tools, and MS Office.Ability to work on-site
