Technical Manager - MEP

The team conducts detailed inspections for apartments, villas, townhouses, and commercial units across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the wider UAE. InterNACHI-certified inspectors document construction, finishing, and accessible MEP defects with clear photographic evidence and recommended actions, delivering structured reports within 8 hours of inspection. Fedari represents only the client commissioning the inspection, ensuring impartial assessments that support informed property decisions. The company offers a range of services including snagging, pre-handover, DLP/warranty, resale, reinspection, and commercial property inspections.Role Description The Technical Manager - MEP is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for overseeing all MEP-related technical aspects of property inspections, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are assessed accurately and comply with relevant standards and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing inspection plans, guiding inspectors on MEP requirements, validating defect documentation, and providing technical support on complex findings. The Technical Manager - MEP will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve inspection methodologies, and support continuous development of MEP-related processes and standards. The role also involves coordinating resources, monitoring project timelines, and contributing to technical training and best practices within the team.Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to review inspection findings, interpret technical data, and make sound recommendations.Proven Team Management experience to lead inspection teams, allocate resources, and coordinate on-site activities.Solid Technical Support capabilities to guide inspectors on MEP issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and advise clients on corrective actions.Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to refine inspection methods, integrate new standards, and enhance MEP assessment tools and practices.Demonstrated Project Management skills to plan inspections, manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure high-quality report outputs.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline); advanced certifications in MEP or building inspection are an advantage.In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and relevant UAE building codes and standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, client-focused environment.
