Location: Santa Monica, CA (onsite, 5 days/week at the SM museum)Reports to: General Manager AMLAJob SummaryThe responsibility of the Technical Operations, Team Leader is to operate media equipment for digital media content and all live events.

Technical Operations member configures, installs, and maintains media equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, sound boards and facilities with the Team Leader.Technical Operations team member leverages basic knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience in lighting and photography, and good troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, System Team Staff keeps video content and facilities at its best to enhance the show's digital and live experience.Duties and Responsibilities1. System Management and Team Coordination- Responsible for overall command, coordination, and management of the system team.- Participates in problem-solving and decision-making, supporting team members' skill development andworkload distribution.2. Managing overall Audio and Video equipment and facility maintenance- oversee the maintenance and operation of the system and facility to ensure smooth and efficient functionality.- includes monitoring and resolving any issues or malfunctions that may arise.- Ensure that beam projectors, computers, media servers, network servers, CCTV and exhibition facilities are maintained in top condition- Create and execute a maintenance plan.- Work cooperatively with team members to accomplish tasks together- In the event of a breakdown, try to repair or troubleshoot yourself as much as possible.- Report to management on failures and actions taken3. Provide hands-on operational support as needed.N.B.: Duties & responsibilities are not limited to the job description.Job Requirements- Proven experience in facility and electronic equipment and exhibition facilities maintenance.- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.- Knowledge of video content management systems and best practices.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Passion for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and equipment.- Proven experience in facility and electronic equipment maintenance.- Ability to work at flexible workdays and hours due to the business hours of museum. Maintenance work will be often done after business hours and may include nighttime work.- Food handler card must be obtained prior to employment- High level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.This is a full-time Salary Exempt role.
