This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong expertise in Industrial Automation and/or Electrical Engineering with operational excellence, people leadership and strategic thinking. YOUR ROLEAs Technical Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the performance of the technical function across our manufacturing operations in Aksakovo and Devnya.Your primary focus will be on equipment reliability and availability, preventive and predictive maintenance, industrial automation, infrastructure and strategic technical investments.You will:Lead, engage and develop a high-performing Engineering & Technical teamBuild and implement a robust preventive and predictive maintenance modelDrive Asset Performance Management throughout the full asset lifecycleImprove OEE and Technical Availability, while optimizing maintenance costsStandardize processes across Preventive Maintenance, Operational Management, Spare Parts, Vendor Management, Regulatory Framework, Infrastructure & Assets, Functional PMO and Organizational Technical CapabilityLead strategic projects in industrial automation, energy efficiency and manufacturing modernizationManage CAPEX initiatives and technical investments with a clear focus on ROIC, delivery, cost and operational continuityEnsure spare parts availability, power quality and continuity, and high infrastructure standardsManage strategic relationships with equipment manufacturers, technical partners and service providersBuild long-term engineering capabilities, succession plans and development opportunities for engineering talent WHAT YOU BRINGWe are particularly interested in candidates with a strong professional background in Industrial Automation and/or Electrical Engineering within a complex manufacturing environment.You bring strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:Industrial Automation – primary area of expertiseElectrical Engineering and industrial electrical systemsMaintenance, Reliability & Predictive MaintenancePLCs, control systems and manufacturing automation technologiesHydraulic & Pneumatic SystemsEnergy Carriers and UtilitiesBuilding and Manufacturing InfrastructureMechanical Engineering – motors, drives, bearings and related equipmentThermodynamicsAsset Performance Management and equipment lifecycle managementLean Manufacturing, Autonomous Maintenance and Lean Six Sigma principlesTechnical Project & CAPEX Management EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:University degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related technical disciplineMinimum 5 years of industrial experience, preferably within packaging materials / flexible packaging or another complex manufacturing environmentProven experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations, ideally across multiple production lines and sitesStrong track record in delivering complex technical and engineering projectsExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsExperience with photovoltaic facilities and energy infrastructure will be considered an advantageFluent in English OUR OFFERAt Plastchim-T, you will have the opportunity to take on a key leadership role with real impact on our manufacturing operations and future technical development.We offer:Competitive remuneration package, reflecting the seniority and responsibility of the roleThe opportunity to lead and shape the Technical Operations function and contribute directly to the performance and long-term success of the businessExposure to strategic engineering, automation and investment projects at both Country and Group levelA comprehensive social benefits package, including Additional Health Insurance, Multisport Card, Food Vouchers and Childbirth/Adoption BonusRelocation and family support for candidates moving to Varna region, tailored to individual circumstancesA modern, dynamic and collaborative working environment with a strong team spiritContinuous learning, professional development and career growth opportunities within one of the leading packaging companies in Europe
